Hi friends, Hope you all have a great day aheadI.Today i am going to review the film Angadi Theru. It takes a great deal of guts and enormous research to produce a realistic story -- and even then, the risks attached to making it watchable are truly many.
In that respect, Ayngaran International's latest Tamil venture, introduced under the unassuming, if chaste name of Angadi Theru (Market Street), directed by G Vasantha Balan (of Veyil fame), is a wonderful product that manages to satisfy almost every criteria of worthwhile filmmaking.
The movie begins with a bang -- literally. Post a rather nicely picturized song, as the protagonists slosh their way through the rain-drenched streets of night-time Chennai, the scene shifts to the pavements near Udhayam Theatre, where labourers are fast asleep.
The lead pair searches for space to bed down as well (one worker asks the two to smear cement on their feet; otherwise, the police would haul them off) and do so -- when a lorry rams into another vehicle and then piles into the labourers in a horrifying, bloody mess.
Cue to quite a heavy flashback. You'd think that with its beginning in the beautifully named Ittamozhi Village in the Thirunelveli District, this is another village-based potpourri -- but AT makes great headway right from the beginning.
You have Jothilingam (debutant Mahesh), a school-topper in the Plus two exams, eager to study further -- but his father meets with a fatal accident, which puts a full-stop to his ambitions. The brilliant student is reduced to earning his keep to support his poor family -- and here, you have the director's master-stroke: he arrives in company of friend Marimuthu to the newly opened mega-store, Senthil Murugan Stores.
Here is where the title is justified, for AT revolves completely around, as the name suggests, one of Chennai's busiest market streets -- the Ranganathan Street, home to countless men, women, dreams, shops, business, success stores and tragic moments. It's as though a random couple in the street were chosen, and their life spun out on-screen.
To those who know the street and T Nagar itself, it wouldn't be difficult to guess which store the Senthil Murugan Store parodies, nor its owner, the infamous Annachi. The store's owner and his staunch henchmen choose boys and girls predominantly from the Nellai District, especially fatherless youngsters unlikely to raise a ruckus if things "go wrong," as they discuss among themselves.
Their job is to practically run the store from dawn to almost midnight, serving customers, running errands, counting stock, carrying tea -- and on occasion, being bullied and screamed at mercilessly by the store's supervisors. One of these, nicknamed Karungali (Black Leg) is a fearsome man, much given to shrieking rages and fits of fury, and the nemesis of every young worker in the store.
Unfortunately, working conditions are terrible, adding to Jothilingam's woes, the Mess, which serves the workers is almost sewer-like, with food dripping off tables, and everyone practically falling into the food, in their eagerness to eat. Living accommodations are equally bad, but there really is no choice, if you have to earn wages.
Among these miserable conditions, life does offer some relief: friend Marimuthu is a constant source of support and humour. And then there's Kani (Anjali), a spitfire of a girl with bright, mischievous eyes, a fiery spirit, strong heart and a will that will bend to no one. Jothilingam and Kani are always at logger-heads in the beginning, but after a few incidents, a gentle friendship develops, which gradually morphs into romance.
If ever a mega-sized store was pried apart and its innards thrown open to outsiders, this is really it. Richard M Nathan's wonderful camera-work takes you to new levels as Ranganathan Street is analyzed from every view-point, and the store's workings itself, shown to you, warts and all, in accompaniment to Sreekar Prasad's perfect editing, and the art-director's work.
There are intimate romantic interludes among co-workers; supervisors who take sexual favours when they can; love-poems that turn hilarious, blind road-side vendors who are surprisingly philosophic; physically challenged workers and faithful wives -- so many tales, so many situations, all happening simultaneously, with a poignant touch.
Jothilingam and Kani, meanwhile, fall slowly into love, going through experiences that test it every turn, while the store treats it the only way it can, even as it plays host to actress Sneha, who does a commercial for them.
While newcomer Mahesh has tried his very best to give a convincing portrayal, it's his friend Marimuthu and co-star Anjali who win the honours, not to mention the numerous secondary characters who play many memorable parts throughout the movie. In reality, though, it's Market Street that the real hero, and as alive as any of the humans on-screen.
While the first half is fairly racy, the second half falls slightly in pace. The screenplay is realistic, yes -- but the general sorrow and helpless frustration hangs in a heavy, depressing fashion.
Vijay Antony and G V Prakash's musical score, while not scintillating, provides an adequate back-up: Aval Appadi Onrum Azhagillai and Un Perai Kettal are melodious. The stunt director deserves a special kudos for making the stunts very realistic.
The real credit goes to Vasantha Balan, though, for coming up with a realistic movie without getting caught in cliched situations; for sticking a camera into reality and capturing a slice of life.
Fans of complete commercial ventures might find the going slow -- but Angadi Theru is, nevertheless, the kind of cinema you keep hoping for and only rarely get. A must-watch. Hope this article is useful to all.

Thamizh Padam Movie Review
Hi friends, Today i am going to review the latest film Thamizh Padam. First of all, a big round of applause for the director for introducing a new genre in Tamil film industry. Holly wood had it since long with movies like Hot Shots Naked Gun or Scary Movie series and Tamil television has beaten it to death. But a full length spoof running for more than two hours on big screen is really difficult to make considering the sensitivity of the industry people. Even Bollywood hasn’t tried a full fledged parody yet.
‘Thamizh Padam’ has done it nicely without hurting the sentiments or feelings of any body. Though only regular movie goers will identify every spoof still they will enjoy it even if it is of their favourite heroes. Director Amudhan has walked the tight rope very effectively.
The film starts with a mother giving birth to a child – our hero Shiva- on a rainy night in a typical village which detests male babies being born in the village. The ‘Nattamai’ of the village had already passed a decree to kill any male child born to any body in the village for a peculiar reason. The male children don’t stay in the village when they grow up. So the father asks his mother-Paravai Miniamma-to kill the baby. When the old lady is about to feed the baby with branded cactus milk in tetra pack the infant pleads with the grand mother to put him in a goods train so that he can reach the city and become a big man. Why a goods train? Because the infant knew all goods train leaving a village is destined to reach Chennai city.
Touched by the aspiration of the infant the old lady takes the baby herself to Chennai to help him achieve his dream. In Chennai Siva grows at the spin of a cycle wheel up and spends time with his college going friends Nakul, Siddharth and Bharath – M S Bhaskar, Manobala and Vennira Aadai Murthy. Siva who appears to be a spoiled child actually is an undercover cop like ‘Pokkiri’ Vijay. He eliminates the city rowdies like ‘Thirupachi’ Vijay using techniques of ‘Ghajini’ Suriya, ‘Anniyan’ Vikram and ‘Apoorava Sahodarargal’ Kamal Haasan.
Meanwhile on the other side of his life Siva sees Disha like ‘Kadhalukku Mariyadhai’ Vijay and love strikes like ‘Mozhi’ Prithviraj. Siva expresses his love to her like ‘Maounaragam’ Karthik. But Disha’s father doesn’t approve their love because Siva is poor and doesn’t know who his father is. Humiliated Siva decides to become rich and find his father in the village. He becomes rich in a jiffy like ‘Annamalai’ Rajini and ‘Sivaji’ Rajini. The love finally succeeds.
Then in search of his father Siva lands in his ancestral village Cinempatti like Winner Prashanth. Its a village where couples go to bed only when ‘Vaidegi Kathirunthal’ Vijayakanth starts singing ‘Netru rathiri yamma’ at night. With very little help Siva finds about his father from one of his associate. The associate gives him a CD of the family song which happens to be a ‘Michael Learns To Rock’ number. Armed by the CD Siva belts out the song and he is united with his parents and sister.
Now back to the city. Siva is entrusted with the job of finding the main switch of the rowdy gang called ‘D’ gang. Siva finally manages to reach the main switch Chidambara Rahasiyam Delhi Ganesh. But the real underworld boss of the ‘D’ gang turns out to be Siva’s grand mother. Unperturbed Siva puts duty before family and arrests Muniamma. Muniamma justifies her actions saying only because of her Siva turned out to be true hero. The court accepts and releases all. Siva is promoted as a DIG and Miniamma is recommended for Golden Globe. They all live happily ever after.
When you enter the theatre knowing the film is a spoof you don’t expect anything logical. The movie has followed every rule of a parody. It has sarcasm, typecast, making fun of scenes from serious movies, violence with no major consequences, obvious references to actions or names, lampooning with no purpose, casual scenes with many layers etc.
Siva, introduced as ‘Chandramukhi’ Rajini plays his part to his known character. His timing and dialogue delivery sets him apart. The rip offs from Thalapathy, Kakkha Kakkha, Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu and many more don’t fail to tickle you. Siva over shadows all other characters just like that with his witty presence in every frame.
Aayirathil Oruvan Review

If 2009 wasn't a promising year for Tamil film industry, the same situation is persists with the Pongal releases as well. When the other release 'Naanayam' is a below average fare, 'Aayirathil Oruvan' disappoints us.
The first half (92mins) is filled with usual Selvaraghavan factors like – double entendres, profanity and some more elements patently meant for winning the applause of frontbenchers and 'C' class audiences. As the tale proceeds towards the second half, it's a pathetic scenario as Selvaraghavan stumbles.
First things first: we need to appreciate Selvaraghavan for conceptualizing a good tale of fiction. But he should’ve have pulled the names of two dynasties for the sake of attracting audiences (Though he screens a disclaimer that the film is not based on factual history of Chola dynasty, it cannot be entertained).
An archeologist (Prathap Pothan) is lost somewhere in a never-never land where the world believes that it was once a land ruled by Chola Kingdom. Sooner, his daughter (Andrea) an archeologist by profession, a forest officer (Reema Sen) and her team of armed defense groups are set out to unravel the mystery behind his loss.
To make sure that their journey through the untouched lands is comfortable, they hire local coolies lead by Sugumaran (Karthi). Soon the journey begins and it turns to be tougher than the team had actually predicted.
At the point of intermission, adventures literally transcend towards fantasy, thereby unraveling the hidden mysteries of preexisting dynasties of Chola and Pandian.
Let's start off with analysis on directorial aspects….
Having set in the backdrops of a different genre, Selvaraghavan should've have neatly included the quotients that are essential to engross the audiences. But he seems to have made wrong perceptions altogether. As mentioned earlier, the first half is completely comprised with 'Adult themes', which is likely to be resent by family audiences and must-to-avoid for kids. Nonetheless in the second half, nothing seems to be termed as ‘perfect picture’ as the story shifts to darker side, where there’s nothing left for enjoyable vistas.
Musical score by G.V. Prakash is brilliant, especially with his background score. Cinematography by Ramji is good piece of artwork while Computer generated graphic works doesn’t engross us.
To mark our verdicts, 'Aayirathil Oruvan' being churned out at 35Crores is a godforsaken film and it may not be surefooted winner at box office.
Verdict: Not worth watching

It is Raj Kumar Hirani’s chance to do a hat-trick with two blockbusters Munnabhai MBBS and Lagey Raho Munnabhai.
It is an Aamir Khan. This alone is a crowd pulling statement. And with Ghajini among the top 5 biggest money-makers of Bollywood, 3 Idiots deserved to be super-hyped. So does it work?

Story of 3 Idiots: 3 Idiots is about three engineering students who believe in the IDIOT term, which means I Do It On My Terms. Two friends [R. Madhavan and SharmanJoshi] are on a trip to find out a lost buddy. As they make their way through the dangerous landscape [Shimla, Manali, Ladakh], there starts another journey: their inner journey through memory lane and thestory of their buddy in the flashback - the unmanageable free-thinker Rancho [Aamir Khan], who, in his exceptional way, touched and changed their lives.
It’s a story of their hostel days that swings between Rancho’s romance with the spirited Pia [Kareena Kapoor] and his clash with and oppressive mentor, Viru Sahastrabudhhe [Boman Irani]. And then one day, suddenly, Rancho disappears from their lives. The quest is to find the original idiot who did not conform to standard thinking patterns.
How does Raju Hirani score? Raju Hirani has proved that he is the best director in Bollywood with 3 Idiots. The screenplay writers Abhijat Joshi and Hirani come up with a very sincere story that is a slice of life
Technical details of 3 Idiots:
1. Shantanu Moitra’s music may look a bit staid compared to most songs in Aamir Khan’s films but when you see them on screen, you begin to fall in love with them
2. The choreography of ‘All Izz Well’ [Avit Dias] and ‘Zoobie Doobie’ [Bosco-Caesar] is pleasant.. The background score [Sanjay Wandrekar, Atul Raninga, Shantanu Moitra] is apt
3. Muraleedharan C.K.’s cinematography is stunning, the scenes of Shimla and Ladakh are perfectly captured
Performance in 3 idiots
3 Idiots is beautified with some towering performances. Sharman Joshi is super brilliant, Madhavan really keeps you on your toes especially in sequences when he explains to his father, his point of view Boman Irani is wonderful as the head of the engineering institute. Boman Irani comes up with a performance that is on par with his scintiallating performance as Asthana in Munnabhai MBBS. Kareena Kapoor’s role is small but she gives maximum impact. Omi is sure to be a hit with audience. Jaffed Jafferi and Pareekshit Sahani put in noteworthy performances. Finally, we have the icing on this sweet cake-Aamir Khan. He may have come up with brilliant performances through his career, but Aamir Khan’s performance in 3 Idiots is the best. He breathes, looks and performs like a 25 year old. He proves that no one is close to him when it comes to pitching in a mindblowing performance.
Last few lines on 3 Idiots
3 Idiots works and how! With a good grip on emotions and entertainment, 3 Idiots is the biggest hit of 2009 for sure.

We couldn’t understood why Vijay is strictly sticking on B grade mass masalas like Vettaikkaran!
There is nothing new in this action-revenge-average comedy flick and most of the scenes also dragged from his old movies like Pokkiri, Bagavathy, Thiruppachi etc…
Also it seems that Vijay is completely surrendered in front of the demigod of Kollywood Rajinikanth. He copied the one and only superstar’s style even in dialogue delivery. So once again the actor proves that there is no place for originality in his films.
The story is goes like this…
Ravi alias Police Ravi, a Tuticurin based happy go lucky guy is attempting continuously to get promotion from his plus two exam. But he adores Devraj IPS as his guru and wishes to become a cop like him in his life.
‘Unexpectedly’ he passed his plus two exam and to Chennai to join a college and fulfill his dream. He meets a lovely girl during his journy in train and immediately fall in love with her.
Ravi earns his livelihood by driving auto after his college hours and continuous his studies.
One bad day, he meets Chella, son of local don Vedanayagam (Salim Ghosh), who has control over entire Chennai
Clashes do takes place between Ravi and the baddies and finally Ravi killed Chella in a fierce battle.
After that Vijay come to know about a shocking fact that Devraj IPS, his guru, has lost his career, eyesight and his family because of Vedanayagam.
Now, Ravi join hands with Devraj and vows to overthrow the realms of baddies and starts striking with his fists of actions that move in a much cliched way.
It is none other than a Perarasu type mass masala which mostly failed to grab the attention of the viewers in most of the scenes.
Vijay doing his role as usually with lot of aimless punches, stunts and dry comedy. The post interval part is so overdosed with these elements.
Anushka reveals her glamour portions well and gives shock to other Tamil heroines.
Though the narration of police officer Devraj role is remembering Nasser of Dhill, Devraj done the role with the inputs of his maximum effort.
Music and camera work are ok. But Vijay Antony completely failed in the back ground score.
There is nothing new in the film, including the promotional techniques of Sun Pictures.. So the hopes to make this film as a minimum hit is also very hard to Vijay.
Hard times continues for Vijay.. better luck in his 50th film!

Debutante director JS Nandini’s maiden venture Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru (TTTT) provides some laughter, romance and some thrilling moments. TTTT is out and out an urban movie that caters to the tastes of the so called multiplex audiences.
Arjun (Ajmal), an art director and visualizer in Srinivasan’s (Mouli) advertisement company, is a man who gets into trouble by his messy way of conducting things. His colleague Archana (Rupa Manjari), a smart girl, is a person who wants to do everythin perfect. Both get an assignment and there starts the trouble.
They have to undertake an ad shoot for Johnson’s baby products. Now they have to get a baby for the ad shoots. They somehow manage to get a baby and get the shoot done. Things get worse when Arjun and Archana need to get a contract signed for the baby, and the parents are nowhere to be found.
It is revealed that the baby is a kidnapped one. In a series of incidents filled with lot of fun and romance, the two set to find the baby’s parents. The rest of the movie tells you who they achieve the mission.
Nandhini, with the able support of veteran Mouli, has utilized this premise to make the movie an entertainer. But she has made the lead characters look like caricatures after a point and this makes the narrative less effective. The last half hour of the movie tends to drag and hence needs to be trimmed.
Ajmal has proved that he could handle lighter roles and newcomer Rupa, who looks cute, has made her entry commendably. But it is Mouli, who stands out amidst the crowd. The seasoned actor has proved his caliber as an actor and a comedian.
A music composer Mani Sharma’s pleasing piece of music is the hallmark of the movie. His background score too is substantial. Placement of song sequences has been so well worked out that they do not pose an impediment to the flood of the story.
On the whole, Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru is a entertainer that will stay in our hearts for a long time. Go with your family and taste the magic.

Kanthaswamy. It is the buzz word in every mouth for the past few months. There was immense hype and hoopla around the movie. Touted to be Tamil cinema's ambitious project, the end-product can be described as a marvel on screen, oozing with style and substance.
The duo of Vikram and Susi Ganeshan have come out with a project (though far from logic) that is laced with all commercial ingredients at right mix. They have lived up to the faith imposed on them by producer Kalaipuli S Thanu.
The movie begins as the scene showing ordinary people who are going to Murugan temple which is famous for all wishes to be fulfilled at the temple. The people who submit their problems as petitions to Kanthaswamy (another name for Lord Muruga) on a piece of paper tied on a tree in the temple will be solved soon mostly financial troubles.
Actor Vikram changed himself as Kandhaswamy a caped crusader dressed like a rooster who fights against the black money with numerous getups like middle aged woman, Super hero, Old man etc… helps the needy with cash. When you watch a Tamil movie you can’t see much of excellent graphics works but this is the movie with a visual treat for eyes and it will be a pure entertainer.
Actor Vikram was portrayed as a Stylish cop and an enchanting Robinhood in Kanthaswamy as he had shown various modulations in delivering dialogues as well as in body languages. Kanthaswamy Vikram will be craze among his fans and all other movie lovers as you can see Vikram with some young dazzling costumes. More than that actor Vikram renders his own voice for the Peppy numbers of Devi Sri Prasad adding more trend on big screen. Actress Shriya as a hot sexy lover of Kandaswamy shows her maximum for what she was actually paid especially in song sequences.
The storyline is weak already there were number of movies in the same storyline but Director Susi Ganeshan made this with a blend of message, style, music which is more like a commercial entertainer.
After watching movies like Nadodigal, Subramanaipuram etc… the amount spend for making is less but in case of Kandasamy it was immense comparing the two movies. Anyway the movie is to be watch for its technical brilliance with Super Hero Vikram styles and peppy numbers of DSP.
Verdict: Classic Mass Masala!
LOVE AAJ KAL FILM REVIEW
Love Aaj Kal: Definitely not to be missed

Studying in London, Jai (Saif) and Meera (Deepika) are in a relationship for two years but when career beckons, they mutually break off their relationship. Meera prepares to go to India to pursue her career in old historical places restorations whereas Jai waits in London with a hope of getting his dream job in San Fransico’s Golden Gate Co. The couple though broken off decides to keep in touch via net and phone calls and continue to remain friends. Restaurant owner Veer Singh (Rishi Kapoor) is a silent observer to their break up process since it happens in his restaurant. Unable to bear the far too casual approach related to affairs of heart of the couple, he tries to convince a reluctant Jai that he is making a mistake. Sensing that Jai is not taking him seriously, Veer then starts narrating him his own love story with Harleen Kaur (Giselle Monteiro) which took place far back in 1965 in Delhi. From then on begins the unfolding of these two love stories running parallel together which incidentally end up with a similar culmination after many twists and turns which also are similar despite the different period zones.
After making the much loved Jab We Met, Imtiaz Ali succeeds in giving us an extremely different love story that we have never witnessed before on Indian screen. He scores high on his writing and his treatment of the film. In the initial 10 minutes he successfully establishes Saif and Deepika’s relationship and their character quirks. He surprises you then by putting a melancholic song (Ye Dooriyan) as opening credits role showing montages of various important twists of the plot that lie ahead. In fact his screenplay is indeed full of surprises ahead, especially in the second half. As you begin to anticipate a particular thing happening ahead in the plot, almost 9 times out of 10 he proves you wrong. Making the film extremely relatable to everyone who has ever been in love and broken off with his/her partner, Imtiaz takes it notches higher by his dialogues that sound simple but convey a lot. Plenty of scenes stay with you as you come out. Imtiaz has repeated his technical team trio of JWM – Aarti Bajaj (Editing), Teddy Maurya (Art Direction) and Cinematographer (N. Nataraj Subramaniam) and each of them have excelled in their respective departments. Music of the film by Pritam is already ruling the charts and thankfully none of the songs act as speed breakers. The picturisation of Main Kya Hoon in San Francisco showing various changes in Saif is simply fantastic.
Without any doubt, these are career best performances of both Saif and Deepika and it should not be a surprise if they both end up winning most of awards for this year. Saif has always been at ease playing the cool no strings attached dude but in here he also succeeds in playing the brooding romantic Sardar Veer Singh very well and is extremely impressive in the post interval emotional sequences. Deepika wins hearts not just by looking extremely attractive throughout but also with the effortless ease she portrays her complex character. Rishi Kapoor is extremely loveable as the mature Veer Singh and lends tremendous dignity to his character. Debutante Giselle Monteiro manages to speak volumes just through her expressions. Rahul Khanna in a special appearance is good and suits the character perfectly well. Raj Zutshi playing Harleen’s father reminds of Pawan Malhotra’s character of Kareena’s uncle in Jab We Met. Florence Brudenell Bruce playing Saif’s Swiss girlfriend doesn’t have much to do but manages to do a good job.
Love Aaj Kal is a film definitely not to be missed. It offers us something fresh and and is a unique experiment in story telling and direction that works big time. It is one film that Saif, Deepika and Imtiaz shall always be proud of whenever they look back at their career.

Luck from the promo’s seemed to have glaring similarities with Sanjay Gadhvi’s Kidnap. Starting with the lead stars, Sanjay Dutt and Imran Khan, to babes in bikini’s, action-packed sequences and a director trying to establish himself outside the comfort of a big production house.
Soham Shah director of Dharma Production’s Kaal, is back after a 5 year long hiatus, yet again with a multi starrer. Can ‘Luck’ be Lucky for the director?
Luck is about Musa (Sanjay Dutt) who in an attempt to redefine the betting industry, decides to play with lives of those with luck on their side. He gathers different individuals, from different parts of the world, pitting them against each other. Who survies and how is what Luck is all about!
What works for Luck
- The first half hour is good, with the opening train-sequence featuring Sanjay Dutt, shot quiet brilliantly.
- The film is high on action and would most certainly impress those who dont watch Hollywood flicks.
- Shruti Hassan’s bikini scene is nice, quite asthetically shot. Kamal’s daughter is blessed with good screen presence.
- The masses would love Ravi Kissen’s performance.
- Mithun Chakraborty and Danny Denzongpa are good.
Why you shouldn’t watch Luck
- The script is full of flaws and the poor direction makes things worse.
- The climax is weird, including the train sequence when Ravi Kissen fires, what seemed like thousands of bullets, all of which miraculously missed the target.
- The sequence shot under water with the sharks, just doesn’t work. Which is a shame, it had tremendous potential to be hair-raising, if only it was executed better.
- The roller-coaster like thrill is completely missing. Apart from the first Sanjay Dutt action scene, nothing works.
- The dialogues suck outright. The word ‘Luck’ is over-used, literally in every sentence, the actors get to mouth.
- Shruti Hassan needs to work on her voice modulation. Her dialogue delivery was quite average.
- Imran Khan fails to impress, which is disappointing.
- Sanjay Dutt, quite frankly, has nothing much to do. Its More-walk-than-talk kinda role!
- Background music is poor.
Overall, Luck is below average to say the least. It should do much better business at single-screens in smaller towns and cities. Collections at multiplexes, especially in metros is expected to be poor and slide further after the initial weekend.

Saran goes for a better makeover on his directorial style by adapting a simple tale (much similar to Prashanth starrer ‘Star’) and makes it stylishly. It has the best factors of capturing the interests of youngsters and multiplex audiences. But there are more parts in latter half more convincing for other centres too.
Udhay (Vinay) and Madhan (Yuva) are the best friends, living life, enjoying the riches of Udhaya’s father Rajan Vasudev (Kalabavanmani), who is one of the top 50 rich men in the world. Madhan lived with Udhay and Udhaya’s father took care of all Madhan’s expenses.
Both the friends meet L R Eshwari (Kajol Agarwal), a pretty college student and both of them fall in love with her. Udhaya’s father surprisingly supports of Madhan’s love with L R Eeswari, when strange things begins to happen…. Madhan gets killed. Udhay losses all his wealth…. And Udhay is on the run to save his life.
How does Udhaya find out the hidden secrets in his life??
And does he sort things out???
Vinay justifies his potentials of earnest attempts on dubbing with his own voice. He’s looks so exquisite on his performance as well. On the pars, Kajol Agarwal looks so enchanting and comes up with decent efforts. Kalabavanmani does justice to his role while Santhanam’s comedy tracks are invigorating. Santhanam proves himself to be the Next Comedy King of Kollywood. Mayilsamy and Haneefa are of course adding more to the humorous quotients. Debut show by Tattoo Ram is fantastic as he makes his part more commendable throughout the film.
Musical score should’ve been yet more finely done while cinematography by Karun is top-notching and ditto to editing.
Screenplay has been well-crafted. As mentioned earlier, the first half has lots of cherished moments well tailored for miniscule audiences while the other centres following may find delighted with the second half.
‘Modhi Vilaiyadu’ has chances of surviving in box office as there are big contestations right now.
Verdict: Worth watchable
