Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZR1

Hi readers, Panasonic's recent Lumix offerings have red hot video modes and the ZR1 is no exception. The 720p images on offer are extremely detailed, boosted by a brilliantly smooth 8x optical zoom that can be used to its full capacity with minimal noise, although the AF tends to lag behind it a little on fast zooms. Played back on an HDTV, images are relatively sharp, but they'd have been even better via HDMI rather than component.
